David Kavanagh is a clinical psychology researcher with 45 years of experience as a practitioner and researcher on addictions, comorbidity, and latterly on digital mental health. He has published over 260 refereed journal papers, 9 books and 48 book chapters. He is currently a research professor at QUT, and chairs the Advisory Council for the Queensland Mental Health Commission. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences in Australia, and has won several awards for his research.
